Lolita Trip in London: Part 1

Hello everyone. At the beginning of the month me and my friends Avgi and Dennis took a trip to London, to attend Regalia, one of the biggest lolita conventions in Europe.

We visited london for four days which were spent doing mostly lolita related activities and shopping.

Day 1: Relentless Shopping

We spend our first afternoon shopping around Piccadilly. My plans were to throw all of my money at lolita during Regalia, but then during the first day I stumbled upon Whittard and Fortnum & Mason, so the tea-freak in me took over and instead I spent a fortune on bringing back home a ridiculous amount of loose leaf tea (plus fancy tea caddies). But uuuh, tea is kinda related to lolita in a way riiight? (No)

Day 2: V&A and Pre-Meet

We visited the Victoria and Albert Museum along with another two travelling lolitas, Saija from Finland and Karin from Germany. We had too little time for such a big museum, but the historical garment section alone was to die for.

Afterwards, we met with Meg, our now-UK-resident-lolita-friend-from-Greece and attended a lovely lolita pre-meet hosted by the London lolitas (special thanks to Jazlyn for arranging all of this). The purpose of this meet was to welcome foreign lolitas travelling to Regalia and make them feel comfortable and have fun. We had a stroll around the town and ended up at a lovely place called the Madd Hatters cafe where we had tea, cupcakes and savory scones.
Thanks to Karin and Elizabeth for taking some pictures, because I completely forgot to.
